Growing is our passion

Our membership is open to all that love gardening and getting their hands on dirt.

The Club meets formally at the Oceola Fish and Game Club in Lake Country from 7pm to 9 pm on the third Thursday of the months  March, April, May, June, September, and October.

Our Annual General Meeting is held in October in conjunction with our Harvest Feast.  Each meeting, regardless of purpose, includes an opportunity to mingle and share gardening tips and suggestions with other members.

Meetings

March, May, and September are regular business meetings that begin with an hour's presentation or demonstration on topics relevant to Okanagan gardeners. April and June meetings are educational in nature and include local speakers. Speakers educate the group in a wide range of topics, from pest control to tree trimming, to experimental gardening practices and composting know how.

Social

In addition to meetings, the Club hosts several social events each year including a summer gardening excursion within the Okanagan, summer barbecue, and a Christmas party.  Members also volunteer to host Club tours of their garden during July, August, and September.
